Gritting

PlantCare offer a proactive grit bin replenishment service, to keep your grit bins filled up and ready for freezing weather.

We can offer a service of managing your stock levels of salt or if you need your grit bin topping up then you can just give us a call. We can supply brown or white rock salt as well as filling your grit bin for you.

White salt is recommended for areas with high foot traffic as it is clean and doesn't leave a dirty residue that can be trodden into vehicles or buildings, this also increases pedestrian safety. After the winter weather the drains don't need to be cleared and there will be nothing to sweep up.

Fly Tipping Removal

PlantCare offers a fly tipped waste and litter removal service. It can be combined as part of our grounds maintenance contracts or can be called off on a reactive call-out basis.

Litter picking is undertaken on a regular basis either weekly, fortnightly or monthly.

As a registered Waste Carrier PlantCare is certified to collect waste from customers' premises and dispose of it in accordance with current legislation.

Despite the fact that there are plenty of council facilities around the country, fly tipping remains a serious problem to many land owners and asset managers and is a criminal activity, at Plant Care we can provide a solution to rectify this problem. If fly tipping has occurred on your premises we can provide a risk assessment to determine what has been tipped and the methods needed to remove and dispose of it safely.
