Project: Openwork
Location: Auckland House, Swindon
Details:

As part of their office refurbishment, Openwork came to us requesting a specific planting scheme which included large, impactful specimen plants for the office areas, hanging planters for the canteen areas, planting for bespoke seating planters, end of desk cabinet planting and special planting for their Frovi Cloud table units.

We worked with their fit out company Interaction to deliver a full scheme that included all of these elements. We chose subtle anthracite planters to enhance the large leafed floor standing plants such as Strelitzia and Ficus Lyrata, and matching desktop planters to decorate empty table spaces.

Smart grey hanging bowls decorate the windows planted with trailing plant specimens. We lined their bespoke built planters with waterproof liners and planted these with varying height plants to enhance the beautiful wall décor. As a bespoke solution for the Frovi Cloud table units we placed trough planters with trailing plants on the top of the frame, and have trained the plants to grow over the wire mesh to create a green canopy effect above the table, as well as adding feature hanging planters below the frame for a fully-planted effect.

These photos have been taken a few years after installing the plants and showcase the quality of our plant maintenance skills. Our experienced plant technicians take great pride in caring for the plants correctly to ensure they add maximum impact to the office-space long after the initial installation.
